Mobile Simulation Lab, A Win For All
Coastal Carolinas Health Alliance brought their Mobile Simulation Lab to AssistedCare’s home health offices in Snow Hill and Leland!
In a real-life simulation lab this past week, all nurses had their competencies checked in a system that gave them instant data on how they performed. Comments from the nurses included “great, fantastic, loved receiving immediate feedback on my performance, learned new best practices, enhanced the critical thinking skills in the group format, learned a lot, can we do this more often?”
According to COO, Sherry Hedrick, making sure our clinicians are always up to date on their skills is critical in this field. We were thrilled to be able to use technology, which not only enhanced the quality of the competency check for nurses, but also gave us an opportunity to learn the latest in clinical techniques. It was a win-win for all!
