AssistedCare COVID-19 Update

Our response to the COVID-19 health pandemic as we continue to provide in home care for our most vulnerable senior population in Wilmington, Leland, Snow Hill and surrounding coastal NC counties.

AssistedCare at Home is dedicated to being a reliable resource in our communities and that has never been more important than now as we face the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety and well-being of our patients and our employees is our upmost priority.  We implemented strict protocols early on to ensure that we could safely care for all who choose AssistedCare as their home health provider.  These protocols meet and exceed all CDC and Joint Commission guidelines and recommendations.  This includes daily screening of all employees and patients and appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE).  We are and will continue to closely monitor the situation.

Our offices are open and fully staffed from 8:00 a.m. t0 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.   Precautions are taking to ensure our administrative staff members have a safe working environment.   If you need to visit one of our offices, you will be asked a couple of screening questions related to COVID-19 symptoms and your temperature will be taken.

We have an exceptional staff of dedicated clinicians that have the clinical skills and knowledge, as well as the protective equipment (PPE) to provide our patients with the quality care they deserve in the comfort and safety of their own home. We are so thankful for their dedication and professionalism.
